Winning

The main thing wrong with the Republican discussion of "winning" in Iraq is that there is no set definition of what "win" looks like. If it was getting rid of Saddam, it's done. If it is the big PNAC plan of building another stable democracy in the Middle East, it's lost.

If it is making sectarian violence go away, that is not going to happen.

I want to see each person who claims we can "win" define what win is, and how the resources we have in place will accomplish that. Otherwise, it's time to bring the troops home.
